By using any of the services and/or the website you agree that you have read and accept these terms and conditions and that they shall apply to your use of this website or its services. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions ‘We’, ‘Our’ and ‘Us’ refers to Asian Bridal Looks of Kendrick Road, Slough, Berkshire SL3 7PQ. Please review these Terms and Conditions carefully before using this Website or its services.

Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
When booking please state any special requirements you may have. On booking an appointment with Asian Bridal Looks, you must discuss any skin allergies and medical conditions at the time of your booking. If you have any uncertainty you must seek medical advice from your doctor. Certain skin conditions will mean that certain products may not be used. If you have a preferred makeup artist please make this known when you book or you will be allocated with the first available makeup artist.
All bookings are subject to a deposit. You will be informed of the amount of deposit required depending on your booking specifications.
All deposits will be redeemed against the service provided.
The makeup artist may arrive up to thirty minutes before the start of your appointment. This will allow her to set up the equipment.
Once the makeup artist is in your house any significant time taken out to tend to deliveries, babies, pets or work that becomes a disturbance during the appointment will be taken off your booking time.
In an effort to maintain a calm, peaceful environment for all our clients, we kindly request that all mobile phones are switched off or silenced during all bookings.
Please remember no smoking is allowed during bookings.
All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied/supervised by an appropriate adult.
If you are late for your booking your booking time will be cut where necessary.
Full Payment for all services / courses is taken before the service / course starts.
Refunds / Cancellations / Date Changes / Non arrival
All deposits and fees for courses / services are refundable (less any card processing fees incurred plus an addtional £50 for aministration fees) if cancellation is made within 14 days of payment. If the course / services has already started or will start within this 14 day period then a charge will be made for the duration that the course / service was delivered or a charge for a 1 day course will be payable if the course has not yet started, and the remainder will be refunded. Beyond these 14 days, cancellations of a service / course is not permitted unless the course/service being provided is not as advertised in which case we will issue a full refund.
Change of dates for a course /service will be treated as a cancellation. At our discretion we may allow a change of date or change of course, but a penalty of £50 may be payable at our discretion each time it is changed.
Course contents may not be taught in the strict order mentioned on the individual course pages, e.g. the hairstyle topics may be taught before the makeup topics. All contents of the course will however be covered.
To attain the makeup certificate, a simple multiple choice questionnaire needs to be answered which includes questions on health and safety. Makeup Certificates are then issued.
In the unlikely event that you have any cause for complaint please inform the makeup artist / course tutor before the end of the booking / course, where she will do her best to ensure your satisfaction.
Photoshoot & Videoshoot
We will have the right to display all pictures and videos given to the student as part of their portfolio shoot on our website, social media, and as part of our advertising as well as to any third parties that may have collaborated with us to make the shoot possible, such as outfit suppliers, jewellery suppliers, etc. Wherever we use the student portfolio pictures it will be made clear that it is students work and not ours.
We will treat all your Personal Information as confidential, we will keep it secure and not divulge it to any third party.
We make every effort to ensure that security issues are taken care of at our premises. It is, however, your responsibility to make sure your possessions are safe and within your sight at all times. We cannot accept responsibility for your items.
Health and Safety
Our policy is to provide and maintain working conditions, equipment and systems of work, which are safe and healthy for all our students and employees, and to provide information, training and supervision sufficient to maintain safety. We also accept our responsibility for health and safety of persons other than employees who may be affected by our activities. These standards are maintained in accordance with the relevant Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Maladministration and Malpractice Policy
Maladministration is essentially any activity or practice which results in non-compliance with Administrative Regulations and requirements and includes the application of persistent mistakes or poor administration within a Centre.
Malpractice or maladministration should be reported to the owner of Asian Bridal Looks.
Should an investigation be undertaken into the Centre, the Head of Asian Bridal Looks will:
• Ensure the investigation is carried out by competent investigators who have no personal involvement in the incident or interest in the outcomes
• Ensure the investigation is carried out in an effective, prompt and thorough manner and that the Investigator(s) look beyond the immediate reported issues to ensure that arrangements at the Centre are appropriate for all qualifications
• Respond speedily and openly to all requests relating to the allegation and/or investigation
• Co-operate and ensure that all staff co-operate fully with any investigation and/or request for information
Equal Opportunities Policy
Asian Bridal Looks operates an equal opportunities policy and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, disability, age, or sexual orientation.
Before starting training courses a risk assessment is carried out which includes all hair styling equipment is checked to ensure safety. Heat resistant gloves are used with all hair styling equipment.
All fire exits are kept clear.
All makeup tools are checked that they are clean and sterile.
Training room is checked for adequate ventilation.
All electric cables are kept in a tidy state to prevent trips.
Fire extinguishers are checked.
